When women face a diagnosis, they often face feelings of confusion, insecurity and overwhelm as they navigate important health decisions in unchartered waters. In addition to trying to learn a mountain of medical information, they often lack a foundational understanding of their own Patients Bill of Rights and how to exercise it.
This leaves them feeling pressure to agree to every medical opinion they receive. It does not have to be this way. Through her own lived experience with a cancer diagnosis, Health Coach Epale not only chose alternative treatments, she changed her family generational pattern by being the first to survive cancer after five family members underwent chemotherapy and did not survive.

About Francisca
Francisca Epale, DTM, TESOL, MA is a 4-time author and her most popular book is How I Conquered Breast Cancer Without Chemotherapy: My Journey from a Mess to a Message. (medical disclaimer included).
She speaks to audiences who want to become a better version of themselves with an engaging style and unique personal stories that make speaking come alive. Francisca has been nominated for the Woman on Fire 2023 award and the Global Authors award 2023 London, England. In addition to being a certified Health/life coach with the Health Institute in Provo, Utah, and a Distinguished Toastmaster since July 26 2019, she is also certified as a speech coach under Craig Valentine 1999 World Champion of Toastmasters.
Francisca is an educator by profession, and enjoys sharing ideas that help others-one of which is how she conquered breast cancer using natural remedies. She started her career in education with a focus on teaching ESL and French at all levels of the academic ladder in the USA, Canada and China. She has a master’s degree in Teaching French as a second language. From a very young age, she began to stutter and determined to stop it, she sought the help of a speech therapist while pursuing post-secondary education in the USA. After several sessions, the therapist advised Francisca to enroll in courses which required presentations to improve on her speaking.
The therapist said her stammering was mild and that she should ignore it! Many years later, a professional resume specialist advised Francisca to include a professional association in her resume such as Toastmasters. Though Francisca encountered many challenges in Toastmasters, she stood the test of time and graduated with a DTM the highest award bestowed on a Toastmasters member and only less than 1% of people obtain this coveted award.

Francisca’s journey began in the USA where she was diagnosed with dense breasts. Fast forward several years and she was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer on August 1, 2019 after noticing a lump in her right breast get bigger. Her mammograms had failed to catch the cancer because mammograms are not one hundred percent effective. Having lost five family members to cancer even though they used chemotherapy, Francisca was determined to break this generational pattern. She decided to use natural remedies and gained the confidence to become her number one advocate. My Uterine Fibroids Changed My Destiny
